Yes. Speech-to-text runs on your Mac with WhisperKit + Nemotron. Audio and transcripts never leave the device unless you turn on an optional cloud feature.
Which Macs are supported?
Apple Silicon Macs on a recent macOS. Intel is not supported.
Does it work in IDEs, Electron apps, and browsers?
Yes — Capitera inserts into native, Electron, and browser text fields, and falls back safely when an app blocks direct insertion.
What about my passwords?
Secure and password fields are detected and blocked — Capitera won't capture into them.
When does it launch?

Is my dictation stored?
